LA CUMBRE is probably the best technical gear store in Chile. With a friendly service they offer from rock climbing, alpine gear up to trekking and camping. Prices are almost identical to the U.S. which makes it convenient to buy here instead of importing. They are located at Av. Lippi is a classic in Chilean mountain climbing and outdoors manufacturing high quality gear, from backpacks to fleece, down sleeping bags and gore-tex jackets to underwear. All Chilean climbers have at some time used Lippi gear. Usually they don't have on stock exactly what you need (colors, sizes, etc.), but they are always friendly and willing to make it for you.
